It’s My Time

By John Maurice

I had a talk with myself yesterday. Not the usual pep talk. Not the “you got this” speech I’ve given so many times before.
This one was different. This one came from a deeper place—a breaking point that became my breakthrough.

I told fear, “Your time in my body is done.” you can’t live here any more. I told doubt, “You don’t get to drive this life anymore.”
I told every thought that ever tried to keep me small, every memory that whispered, “It won’t work for you”—thank you, but I’m done.

And just like that, something inside of me stood up. Because truth is: I’m tired. Tired of walking around with potential packed in my soul and permission slips I never signed. Tired of living half-lit, half-present, half-believing. So today, I choose something new.

From this moment on. It’s my time.

Change Begins When You’ve Had Enough

Change doesn’t happen when everything’s perfect. Change starts the moment you finally say, “I can’t do this anymore.” Not from weakness—but from readiness. I’ve lived long enough being guided by fear. I’ve watched dreams sit quietly in the background of my life, waiting for me to finally choose them.

But now? I’m not waiting on a sign. I am the sign. And if you’re reading this—you are too.

If you’re tired of feeling stuck, if you’ve been carrying around a low-grade sadness, if you’ve ever wondered, “Why hasn’t it happened for me yet?”—I need you to know: you’re not broken. You’re just awakening. This is what change feels like when it’s real: uncomfortable, undeniable, and completely necessary.

And it starts with a choice. You are in charge You create it all it all comes from you. You will receive what you except.

You Are Allowed to Begin Again

Let’s get honest: sometimes we live our lives based on someone else’s dream. We make decisions through someone else’s eyes. We wear clothes that don’t fit our soul. We shrink because someone else was too scared to grow. But no more. You don’t owe the past an explanation, and you don’t need anyone’s permission to evolve.

You’re allowed to become new. You’re allowed to be soft and strong at the same time. You’re allowed to say, “That used to be me, but I’m not that version anymore.” It’s okay to change the plan. It’s okay to rise. This is your life. Not theirs. Not your parents’. Not society’s. Not the voice in your head that’s stuck. This is your time. And you get to live it your way.

This Season Isn’t a Crisis, It’s a Calling

Let me talk to the ones who feel like time is running out. You’ve lived, loved, lost, built, broken, started over. Now, something in your soul is asking: “Is this all there is?” No. This is not the end. This is your return—the sacred moment where everything you’ve lived through becomes the fuel for everything you’re about to become.

The first half of your life was for learning. This season? It’s for earning. And the next? It’s for returning. Giving back. Pouring in. Living full.

You are not too late. You are not behind. You’re right on time for the version of you that’s been waiting to take the stage.

You’ve Got the Win Inside of You

Sometimes we think we need a huge breakthrough to feel worthy. But the win isn’t in the spotlight. The win is in the moment you keep going, even when it’s dark.

It’s in the day you wanted to quit—but didn’t. It’s in the breath you took when your chest was tight but you got up anyway. That’s power. That’s resilience.
That’s God showing up through you.

You don’t need a cheer squad. You need one more push. You need you—the you that believes again. So when that little whisper inside says “Keep going,” don’t ignore it. That’s the real you talking. That’s the version that’s ready. That’s the fire that’s been waiting to burn.

Say It With Me, It’s My Time

This life right here? It’s not a dress rehearsal. It’s the main show. And I’m done giving my best years to fear. Done explaining myself to doubt. Done living halfway alive, because this is My Time.

I want to feel everything. I want to be fully me. And I want you to know: You can do this too.

Not because it’s easy.
But because it’s necessary. Because you deserve to love the life you live. Because your kids are watching. Because your future is calling. Because it’s your time.

So say it with me, It’s my time to rise, It’s my time to believe, It’s my time to become everything I was born to be. And this time… I won’t sit this life out. Act like it, Believe it, Live it.

I will not forfeit or surrender my dreams one more day, not one more second. No More Wasted Seasons When I say it and think about it it reminds me of a poem by Dr. Benjamin E. Mays,

” All I have in this life is just one tiny little minute, Only sixty seconds in it. Forced upon me, can’t refuse it. Didn’t seek it, didn’t choose it. But it’s up to me to use it. I must suffer if I lose it. Give account if I abuse it. All we have in this life is Just one tiny little minute, but eternity is in it.

My hope for you and myself is to Live your live with no more regrets. You got this and remember , The Choice is Yours Alone. As always, You know that I believe in you and with you believing more in yourself and taking all the right actions to grow, I know that it’s only a matter of time until I see you on the other side of your desired reality .

Until Next Time,
Love Always,
John Maurice
